Eastern Washington Grabs 2nd FCS over D1 Victory of 2012

An hour and 40 minutes later....A team that went 6-5 last year, the Eastern Washington Eagles, infamous for blatantly copying off of Boise St's school-colored turf, defeated the paltry Idaho Vandals. Idaho learns a valuable lesson, not even having a plane decorated after you (after throwing a mini-temper tantrum to get it), will make your terrible program invincible to FCS opponents. 20-3 was the score in Moscow, Idaho, and a nice dominating road win for Eastern Washington. This just has to be totally embarassing for Idaho on the other hand. These kind of losses just leave a black eye, but maybe when you're program is on life support, another black eye makes no difference. You've got to feel sorry for the 11,136 people at the Kibbie Dome that had to watch their home team get taken to school by a FCS school. Not a good way to start the year. Idaho was 2-10 last year as this year looks to be the same... maybe worse.

Eastern Washington's Nicholas Edwards prepares to catch a pass over Idaho's Trey Williams.

Eastern Washington's T.J. Lee III gives University of Idaho's Jahrie Level a shove out of bounds on Idaho's best touchdown attempt in the first half. The pass to Level was ruled incomplete.
